Field ID Supported Hardware Devices and Web Browsers

Field ID is designed to be used by certain devices. Though it is a web based program additional features such as picture taking, RFID and barcode scanning may not work on all handheld devices.  We have three support tiers for these devices and these are detailed below:

Recommended Devices | FieldID provides customer support and actively fixes any issues ASAP in a patch

• These include handheld devices Field ID sells ( do not need to be purchased through Field ID):
  • Psion Workabout PRO 3
  • Psion Ikon
  • HP iPAQ
  • Motorola ES400
  • Motorola MC55A0
  • IDBLUE Pen

Recommended Web Browser | FieldID provides customer support and actively fixes any issues ASAP in a patch

• Desktop, laptop or tablet computers running stock versions of:
  • Mozilla Firefox 3 and 4
  • Internet Explorer 7, 8 or 9

         Tablets with enhanced versions of these web browsers are not recommended

 Supported Devices | FieldID will fix any issues within 6 weeks

• Apple iPad and iPad2 running in ONLINE MODE.  NOTE: iPad 2 front or rear camera currently NOT supported
• Windows Tablets running in ONLINE MODE using any of the browsers listed above

Not Supported Devices | Field ID has not been tested on these devices and there is no guarantee that Field ID will fix any issues

Anything that is NOT on the list above, including:

• Windows Mobile Devices not on the above recommended list
• Blackberry Playbook
• Blackberry Phones
• iPhone
• Android Tablets
• Andriod Phones
