If you are running Windows Vista or Windows 7 you may have Windows Mobile Device Centre already installed. If this is your first time connecting a device to your computer it is recommended that you download the latest version to ensure compatability.

If you are running a 64 bit system please download from the following link and follow the on-screen instructions to install: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=4F68EB56-7825-43B2-AC89-2030ED98ED95&displaylang=en
- Once the software has finished installing please restart your computer.
- Once your computer has finished starting up please plug your device into the computer by using cables, cradles, etc.

Windows Mobile Device Centre will load. You may be asked to register your device once it connects. This is not needed and optional, for now skip this.

You will be given two options. Click "Connect without setting up your device". Setting up your device copies your email, contacts, etc to the device. You may do this if you want but not nescessary.

Hover the mouse over Mobile Device Settings and press Connection Settings.

Make sure that all boxes are checked and the drop down under "This computer is connected to:" is set to "Automatic" or "The Internet".

Press OK.

Your device should now be connected and you will be able to browse the files on the device by selecting "File Management" and the device will be able to connect to the internet to sync your events and assets.
